What started out in 2010 with a need in the industry for a different type of third party fulfillment offering, Ben and Gwen Martin had a vision to do things differently. With two customers in 2,000 square feet of warehouse space they spent the next decade growing their business model and adding related businesses to Evolution Group of Companies, which now offers over 150,000 square feet of warehouse and office space in two countries servicing brands from every continent.
When Ben and Gwen created the company, they created a fundamental set of pillars for the business to be built upon. One of those pillars was relationships. Their team spend the time with customers to ensure that the human element of customer service is maintained. Effective and intentional communication is a corner stone of the business; the team takes the time to ensure that relationships are maintained and valued.
One of the most important things to Ben and Gwen has been a culture where people love coming to work every day. They like to celebrate their employees and their diversity. Some staff have taken on some really big goals in life, and as a company Evolution has found ways to support their growth and to be part of it as a team.
The owners and staff are also proud of the tens of thousands of dollars raised through different charitable initiatives such as Shoe Bank Canada, Surrey & Delta Food Banks, Delta Assist, Help Our Northern Neighbours, and various Downtown East Side charities.
